The Flag Raising Team (PASPERA) from SMP Juara Bandung once again brought home a trophy for the school. This time, it was in the prestigious LKBB TUBBIS (Tunas Bangsa Berbaris) Jabar Open competition for junior high schools and equivalent institutions, organized by BRIGPASTUSA KARAT SMK Tunas Bangsa Ngamprah, West Bandung Regency. The competition, held on Sunday (December 16), offered 40 permanent trophies, 5 rotating trophies, and cash prizes totaling Rp 6,000,000, with fifty-six schools participating from various regions across West Java. SMP Juara Bandung sent a senior platoon team, mostly made up of eighth-grade students.
The night before the competition, the SMP Juara Bandung platoon stayed at the competition venue and carried out a final rehearsal on location. “We practiced until late at night to achieve the best possible results,” said Iffa, an eighth-grade student who served as the platoon commander (Danton).
Performing in third place, Alhamdulillah, the team’s efforts and hard work over more than a month paid off. The PASPERA platoon from SMP Juara earned second place in the Harapan Bina category.
Insha Allah, this will motivate the team to further improve their performance in future competitions.
