The PMR unit of SMP Juara Bandung participated in the Jumpa Bakti Gembira PMR III (Jumbara) 2018 organized by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bandung City. The Jumbara, which included PMR members from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools throughout Bandung City, took place at Natural Hill, Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. Silka Shafanisa, an LSU and also a PMR coach at SMP Juara, stated that the PMR unit from SMP Juara Bandung sent 19 of its members to participate in this event.
According to Darmanto, the PMR coach, the Jumbara was held from October 17 to 20, 2018, and was divided into three main areas: Jumpa (Gathering), Bakti (Service), and Gembira (Joy). The PMR members from SMP Juara Bandung were then divided into several activity groups, with some participating in topics such as Traveling, HPI (Indonesian Red Cross Youth), Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, Workshops, Community Service, Bulletin Boards, and others. Additionally, there were competition materials including Mini Futsal, Sarong Volleyball, Red Cross Activities, Friendship Album Design, and more.
During this Jumbara, the PMR members from SMP Juara Bandung also took proficiency tests to earn the PMR competency badge from PMI Bandung City. Furthermore, they achieved the title of Second Best Team in Jumbara III 2018 and received a certificate of appreciation.
