A total of 11 students from grades 5 and 6 were selected as representatives from SD Juara Cimahi to participate in the city-level competition held by RA/SD/SMP Nurul Aulia Kota Cimahi on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The competition included Adhan, Quran memorization, and Indonesian creative dance categories.
After the dawn prayer with full enthusiasm, the dance team under the guidance of Bu Dian (the extracurricular tutor of SD Juara Cimahi) hurriedly arrived at the school to prepare costumes and makeup for the dance performance. They were followed by the Adhan and Quran memorization teams, who were equally enthusiastic about gathering at the school.
At exactly 8 a.m., the representatives from SD Juara Cimahi arrived at the location and were ready to compete. With determination, they fought hard. As expressed by Haura, a 6th-grade student, “Before graduating, I will show my best by contributing a trophy to SD Juara Cimahi.”
At exactly 11:45 a.m., the announcement of the competition winners began. The atmosphere became tense, making all the children nervous, as they were competing against students from other schools who were equally talented.
The children did their best, and alhamdulillah, Allah granted victory in 2 competition categories. Alhamdulillah, the 6th-grade dance team (Haura, Lavina, Najla, Desi, and Nanay) became the 3rd place winner in the Nusantara Creative Dance Competition, and Naila Rahmaniah Al Patunnisa, a 6th-grade student, became the 1st place winner in the Tahfidz Competition.
Naila was surprised and couldn’t believe she became the champion. “Really, is it me who won?” Naila exclaimed. The supervising teacher reassured Naila.
Our hope is that our gratitude to Allah continues to increase. Victory is granted by Allah to whomever He wills. Our task is only to strive. May this competition provide knowledge, experience, and goodness for all of us.
